Crazy Reading Options

For the reading options over the epic of Ramayana, although I would prefer the novel like reading over readings from various authors the online availability of the second reading is what is most important to me as I do most of my work via computer. The separate links to each chapter of the epic is also useful for keeping my place, instead of checking out a book from the library and having to remember my place. I also prefer picture books,
For the Week 5 options, the film is an hour twenty minutes, which would mean that it would take less time to complete, on average, than the readings, but it also means my hyper active brain has to pay attention for that long. The second option of the readings would be my go to as it lays the readings out into part A and part B reading on single pages.

For weeks 6 and 7 the second option is the most viable for how I work for the same reason as week 3 and 4.

For Week 9 the options I would choose are for the same reasons as Week 5 and they are either the film  or the second reading, as the second reading focuses on the epic heroes, which I find interesting.

Feedback Strategies: Process Praise and Mirror Feedback

Be a Mirror This article is useful as it lists out examples as to how each of the 5 useful qualities within feedback is presented. I always find that being specific when talking to people can show you are genuinely interested in their life, but I never thought this could be utilized when giving feedback. Another important quality is to not tell them they are missing something as that does not allow growth because they did not put any effort into something they did not even think of. The most interesting point in this article was to take oneself out of the feedback. Everyone enjoys talking about themselves, but in the case where you are giving feedback it's best to not say why I think something because it takes away from their growth.
