The technology tools that will be utilized in this class are mostly unfamiliar to me.

I am excited to learn more than expected coming into this course. The most interesting is getting the opportunity to create a website to publish our storytelling assignment. The assignment will feel more similar to a personal project as opposed to school work due to the creative freedom given to us.

Hello all, my name is Zach and this is a story all about how my life got turned upside down. i.e college. I started out college believing it would be easy, like most people I imagine. Then I realized I was dumb and knew nothing and actually had to study for exams. It wasn't until my junior year that I really figured out how to college. Feedback Strategies: Process Praise and Mirror Feedback

Be a Mirror This article is useful as it lists out examples as to how each of the 5 useful qualities within feedback is presented. I always find that being specific when talking to people can show you are genuinely interested in their life, but I never thought this could be utilized when giving feedback. Another important quality is to not tell them they are missing something as that does not allow growth because they did not put any effort into something they did not even think of. The most interesting point in this article was to take oneself out of the feedback. Everyone enjoys talking about themselves, but in the case where you are giving feedback it's best to not say why I think something because it takes away from their growth.
