Vyasa and Ganesha Author: John Macfie
-Chedi dropped his semen into a river
-a fish got pregnant and had two kids, Satyavati and Yamuna

 King Shantanu and Ganga Author: Donald Mackenzie
-Shantanu married Ganga
-Ganga tossed their children in the Ganges so there celestial spirits could be free
-Shantanu gets mad
-Ganag leaves him
-brings him noble son, Devavrata

King Shantanu and Satyavati
-Shantanu wanted Satyavati, fish girl
-Her father wanted her son to be heir to the throne
-Shantanu said no because it was for Devavrata

 Devavrata's Vow
-He said he would not be king, marry, or have kids
-This was so his father could marry Satyavati

Bhishma at the Swayamvara
-Bhishma needed to find his brother a wife
-He is a great archer

 Amba
-Amba is not to be married and is sad
-Gains the power to destroy Bhishma

Dhritarashtra and Pandu
-The two sons of Ambika and Ambalika

-father was Vyasa
-D was blind and Pandu was pale

 Kunti and her Son
-Kunti gave birth to Karna
-She cast him into the river
-He was found by a childless couple
-They raised him

 Pandu and His Wives
-Pandu slayed a deer while it was having sex
-The deer was a brahmin
-Deer set a curse that if Pandu ever had sex again he would die and so would the woman he lay with

The Sons of Pandu
-died due to his curse

Gandhari and Dhritarashtra
-They had 100 sons together
-the eldest was Duroydhana, who was a bad omen
-was kept in spite of the counsel

 Pandavas and Kauravas
-They are raised together under Dhritarashtra

Bhima and the Nagas
-Duroydhana tried to kill Bhima
-Bhima got super natural powers from Nagas and became stronger than the Kauravas

 Drona
-Drapuda and Drona were childhood friends
-Then Drapuda, rajah, got all upset when Drona still called him friend

Drona Trains the Princes
-Drona showed favor to the Pandavas
-Arjuna was his favorite
-The Kauravas did not like this

Ekalavya
-Wanted to be trained by Drona
-Drona said nah
-He trained and worshiped Drona
-became a great archer
-Drona made him cut his thumb off
-he and the other Bhils now shoot with their middle finger and they are not as good

The Contest
-Bhima and Duroydhana got into a fight while at a contest
-Arjuna stopped them
-everyone gave praise to him

The Arrival of Karna
-Karna arrives and is amazing
-becomes friends with Duroydhana
-Becomes enemies of Arjuna
-Karna appears to be stringer thus far

Dronas Revenge
-He set out his pupils to complete tasks
- the Kauravas failed
-the Pandavas were successful and brought down Drapuda
-Drona gave Drapuda half of the kingdom

Duryodhana's Jealousy
-His cousin Yushishthira got crowned king
-He was pissed
-Devised a plan to burn down his palace with his mother and brothers inside of it

Hello all, my name is Zach and this is a story all about how my life got turned upside down. i.e college. I started out college believing it would be easy, like most people I imagine. Then I realized I was dumb and knew nothing and actually had to study for exams. It wasn't until my junior year that I really figured out how to college. I have a dual major in mechanical engineering and computer science that I will be completing over 5 years, I'm currently in my fourth, unless I fail something, then I'll probably just drop one of them and graduate. Feedback Strategies: Process Praise and Mirror Feedback

Be a Mirror This article is useful as it lists out examples as to how each of the 5 useful qualities within feedback is presented. I always find that being specific when talking to people can show you are genuinely interested in their life, but I never thought this could be utilized when giving feedback. Another important quality is to not tell them they are missing something as that does not allow growth because they did not put any effort into something they did not even think of. The most interesting point in this article was to take oneself out of the feedback. Everyone enjoys talking about themselves, but in the case where you are giving feedback it's best to not say why I think something because it takes away from their growth.
