Week 8 Progress

Looking through what I have done thus far, I am happy with my progress. Although I missed the passed two assignment this week, I will make them up with the extra credit options. I enjoy making my own stories out of the epics. This allows me to better learn the material as well as have fun recreating them. I am looking forward to creating more stories for my portfolio. If I keep up the work I am doing I will be on track to complete this course with success!

    Hullo there Zach! I have also unfortunately skipped a couple assignments that I will have to make up with extra credit options to get the grade I want. I'm glad you're liking your stories so far, I thought they were pretty funny. I also really like the image you provided here, gotta love Shia! Good luck with the rest of the semester, and godspeed.

Hello all, my name is Zach and this is a story all about how my life got turned upside down. i.e college. I started out college believing it would be easy, like most people I imagine. Then I realized I was dumb and knew nothing and actually had to study for exams. It wasn't until my junior year that I really figured out how to college. Feedback Strategies: Process Praise and Mirror Feedback

Be a Mirror This article is useful as it lists out examples as to how each of the 5 useful qualities within feedback is presented. I always find that being specific when talking to people can show you are genuinely interested in their life, but I never thought this could be utilized when giving feedback. Another important quality is to not tell them they are missing something as that does not allow growth because they did not put any effort into something they did not even think of. The most interesting point in this article was to take oneself out of the feedback. Everyone enjoys talking about themselves, but in the case where you are giving feedback it's best to not say why I think something because it takes away from their growth.
